Happy Chinese New Year!
Exciting news for the Lunar New Year! Our beautiful ESF Lunar New Year card features a stunning design by 8-year-old Sarah Wang from ESF Bradbury School. Her artwork highlights a graceful snake, glowing lanterns, and delicate red blossoms, capturing the essence of the Year of the Snake.
Sarah shared her joy, saying, “Having my art chosen feels very exciting! I’m really proud of myself.” She used a traditional ‘mao bi’ brush and the Shui Mo painting style to create her vibrant design.
ESF CEO Belinda Greer praised Sarah’s creativity, noting that her design perfectly celebrates the festive season. Principal Kate Gower also added that the painting reflects our core values of inspiring creativity and celebrating diversity within our community.
A huge congratulations to Sarah and all our talented students for their imaginative submissions in this year’s challenge! We hope you enjoy sharing this beautiful card with your community as we welcome the Year of the Snake together.
